When do I move in?
If you are living in a one-bedroom unit, your Apartment may not be ready until the 5th workday of the month (due to cleaning and maintenance checks). Please confirm a move in date with the Housing office.
Two and Four bedroom apartments will open Saturday, August 11, 2012 @ 9:00am.

Is there a payment plan to pay my rental fees?
Yes. You can enroll in the Mercer Payment Plan with the Bursar's office (678.547.6121). In addition, if you have financial aid it can be used to help pay toward your housing cost.
Do I have to move out during Christmas break?
No. The Apartments do not close for Christmas break.
How do I cancel my assignment?
Email mitchell_ty@mercer.edu for cancellations. The deadline to cancel an assignment without penalty is May 15, 2012 for returning students and July 13, 2012 for incoming students. The penalty for cancellations after the deadline is one-month’s rent and reservation fee, where applicable.
When is the deadline to turn in the contract?
The deadline to turn in your contract is July 13, 2012, while we will continue to accept contracts from students assigned in July, all others please have your contract in by this date.
How do I renew my contract for the next academic year or summer?
Every March there is a renewal process for all currently housed students, look for the signs and emails in February. THERE IS NO NEED TO APPLY ONLINE and NO RESERVATION FEE REQUIRED.
Who do I contact for help when the office is closed?
There are four Resident Assistants (RAs) available to help when the office is closed. The duty schedule, which includes contact information, is posted in every building on the ground and second floors and changes monthly. For emergencies, please call Mercer Police (MERPO) 678.547.6358.
Where is the Housing Office located?
The Housing office is located in the Sheffield Center, room 212.
How do I become a Resident Assistant (RA)?
When there is a position opening for the upcoming year, in Feburary we will notifiy the campus and post the application online, you may also come by the office to pick up an application.
